Extinction of Wildlife is a Ticking Carbon Bomb

Columbia University Coalition for Sustainable Development (CUCSD) is dedicated to tackling the important issues of both the extinction of wildlife and climate change. Our campaign and event is designed to mobilize students and civil society in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the broader goal of changing flawed policies and secure the next fifteen years of funding for conservation initiatives through the Green Climate Fund.

As part of our #COP21BioClimate campaign, CUCSD welcomes you to join Dr. Alan Rabinowitz, CEO of Panthera, to a screening of his new film ‘Tiger Tiger’ on September 14th, 2015 at 6pm at Columbia University.  Later we will have a discussion with New York Time’s Andy Revkin and Dr. Rabinowitz. This event is also a part of the #KnowYourGoals campaign by Jeff Sach’s, Sustainable Development Network Solutions – Youth (SDSN-Y).

For Tickets to the screening and discussion, RSVP here: http://www.cop21bioclimate.eventbrite.com Additional details are in the invite below.
We are very honored to announce that the Seretary General has responded to our event and is interested in the outcomes. We will be keeping the office abreast of our outcomes.
